Praful Hinge emphasises ‘next match’ more important than trophy:SRH’s star debutant reveals game plan, says ‘performance tops victory’

Sunrisers Hyderabad fast bowler Praful Hinge has shared his strategy for the upcoming matches. Praful believes that his team’s entire focus right now is on one match at a time, rather than long-term plans. His main objective is to go onto the field and simply ‘play good cricket’ without worrying about the outcome. Sunrisers Hyderabad’s debut star Praful spoke to the media on Thursday in the JioStar Press Room during IPL 2026. Responding to a question from Bhaskar, Praful said, “Obviously, winning the trophy is our primary goal, but we don’t plan too far ahead. We prepare a different strategy for each match. He became the first bowler to take 3 wickets in the first over. Before this, in IPL history, 2 wickets were taken in the first over 32 times. He dismissed Vaibhav Sooryavanshi on the second ball. He bowled Dhruv Jurel on the fourth. On the last ball, he took the third wicket by having Luhan-dre Pretorius caught. All three batsmen were out for a duck.
