Lucknow’s traffic system has once again caused embarrassment. Union Agriculture Minister and former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan got stuck in a traffic jam in the capital on Monday. He had to return without attending the wedding ceremony he had arrived for. BJP MLC and BJP in-charge of Madhya Pradesh Mahendra Singh’s daughter’s wedding was on Monday at Janeshwar Mishra Park. In another section of Janeshwar Mishra Park itself, the wedding of state government minister Dinesh Pratap Singh’s niece was also taking place. To attend the weddings at the homes of two senior leaders, CM Yogi Adityanath, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, several ministers of the central government, national and state office bearers of BJP, ministers of the state government, several senior office bearers of RSS, MLAs, MPs and officials had arrived. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also came to the wedding ceremony to bless the bride and groom. State government PWD Minister of State Brajesh Singh was assigned to Shivraj’s protocol. Brajesh Singh reached Janeshwar Mishra Park with Shivraj Singh. Shivraj Singh attended the wedding of Dinesh Pratap Singh’s niece and blessed the bride and groom and also gave them a gift. But ahead of that, his convoy got stuck in a traffic jam. Even after considerable effort, the jam did not clear, and due to being stuck in the jam, there was a possibility of Shivraj Singh missing his flight. Due to the heavy traffic jam, Shivraj Singh Chouhan handed over his gift to Brajesh Singh in an annoyed tone. He returned without attending the wedding ceremony. Brajesh Singh reached the stage and informed Mahendra Singh about this, and also presented the gift given by Shivraj Singh. Minister of State for PWD Brajesh Singh said, Shivraj Singh Chouhan arrived a little late. Many VVIPs were attending the wedding at Janeshwar Mishra Park. The VVIP fleet was overwhelmed. The private plane Shivraj flew in had an FLT until 9:30 pm. Therefore, he had to return without attending Mahendra Singh’s wedding.
