In Khandwa’s Mundi police station area, the April 16 collision between a Thar and a Baleno has now been revealed as a planned murder. BJP leader Lavkush Rathore allegedly conspired to eliminate the family travelling in the Baleno due to his relationship with his sister-in-law Sarika. He reportedly rammed the Baleno three times with his Thar before pushing it into a ditch. Police have arrested Lavkush and registered a case of murder and attempt to murder. Affair angle emerges According to police, Lavkush Rathore and Sarika (30) had been in a relationship for nearly 12 years. Lavkush is married to Sarika’s cousin sister and is 10 years older than her. He is also the father of two children. Sarika frequently stayed at his house under the pretext of visiting her sister and even celebrated festivals there. The family reportedly remained unaware of their relationship for a long time. Wedding on May 5, Lavkush-Sarika were not happy After the affair was exposed, Sumanbai and the family had arranged Sarika’s marriage with a young man from Thikri in Barwani district. The wedding was fixed for May 5, but Lavkush and Sarika were against this marriage. Lavkush, father of two children, had decided to keep Sarika with him. Angered by the fixed marriage and family restrictions, he plotted to eliminate the entire family. He used to threaten the family earlier as well and a complaint had been filed with the police. Both used to talk 100 times a day on phone The incident occurred on April 16 near Kenud, when the family was going to Singaji Dham in a Baleno. During investigation, the question arose as to how Lavkush got the location. Call details revealed that there was constant communication between Lavkush and Sarika. Both used to talk about 100 times daily. Even on the day of the incident, both were in contact. The very Sarika for whom the conspiracy was hatched is herself battling between life and death. Executed the crime just 3 km away from the police station According to Mundi TI Rajendra Narvariya, Lavkush Rathore of Sanavad committed the murder by causing an accident just 3 kilometers away from the police station. Sarika and her family were on their way to the police station at that time. They were going to file a case against Lavkush. Police had arrived, but nothing of that sort came to light. Currently, a murder case has been registered against the accused and he has been arrested.
