One young woman is dragging her on the floor and hitting her with a stick, while the boy is pulling her hair and assaulting her. The third young woman is seen making a video of the incident. Conspiracy hatched after an argument According to information, the minor girl had an argument with both girls over something. In this dispute, she was called to a flat located in Rustam, Tukoganj, under a pretext. The young women and the young man present there together carried out the incident. Assault video made and went viral During the incident, a young woman recorded a video of the beating, which was later made viral on social media. After the video went viral, the police received information about the incident. Action will be taken on the complaint MIG police station in-charge Jitendra Yadav said that information about the incident was received from the media. Both parties were called to the police station. Currently, they have been released after counselling, as the victim has not yet filed a formal complaint. Action will be taken upon filing a complaint. Involving Child Welfare Committee is necessary On the matter, Dr. Divya Gupta said that since the case involves a minor, the police should have informed and involved the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) in the process. According to her, in such a situation, merely releasing them after counseling is not appropriate; rather, action should have been taken under child protection rules.
