Panchkoshi pilgrims started entering the city from Wednesday. The pilgrims had set out on their journey from April 10. By Tuesday evening, they had reached Undasa. Now all pilgrims will start returning within two days. Meanwhile, for hosting the pilgrims and providing them with food prasad, several social service organizations including the Mahakal Temple Committee have set up stalls. So far, more than 10,000 pilgrims have received food from the Mahakal Temple. Will bathe in Shipra and go on Ashta Teerth pilgrimage During the city entry in the morning, pilgrims will bathe in the Shipra river and go on the Ashta Teerth pilgrimage. Before this, pilgrims will also have darshan of Nagchandreshwar Temple. The arrival of pilgrims will continue till Thursday. During this period, the Mahakal Temple Committee has also made arrangements for food prasad for a large number of people. The Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee is providing free food arrangements at all major stops. Free food prasad was distributed to devotees at major stops including Shri Kayavaharaneshwar Mahadev Temple, the third stop Bileshwar Mahadev after Karohan, and Ambuja Dam. A large number of devotees availed this facility. Continuing this sequence, today Wednesday, free food prasad will be distributed by the temple committee at the fourth stop, Dudheshwar Mahadev Temple. Food Prasad Arrangements at Stops Sub-administrator Simmi Yadav informed that this free food prasad arrangement provided by the committee at major stops will continue. Necessary arrangements such as cleanliness, drinking water, and seating facilities have been made available at the site to ensure that the food prasad is distributed in a pure, clean, and organized manner. During the Panchkoshi Yatra, SP Pradeep Sharma reached the Jaithal stop of Panchkoshi. Here he inquired about people’s well-being. After this, the SP ate dal-baati with the villagers like a common pilgrim. Subsequently, he inspected traffic and other arrangements and gave necessary instructions.
