KKR and CSK players wear black armbands in memory of CD Gopinath Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings players wore black armbands during their IPL match here on Tuesday to honour the memory of former India player CD Gopinath. Gopinath died on April 9 at the age of 96. The last surviving member of the Indian team which beat England for their first-ever Test win in 1952, Gopinath was also the country’s oldest Test cricketer before his passing. Gopinath made his Test debut in December 1951 against England and played an overall eight matches for India from 1951-1960, with his final appearance coming against Australia. Sanju bowled by Karthik’s 148 km/h delivery In the 11.2 over, Kartik Tyagi bowled Sanju Samson for 48 runs. The 148 km/h ball landed on a good length and came in. Samson went for a big shot but couldn’t connect, and the stumps were scattered. 6. Ruturaj dropped Narine’s catch On the second ball of the fourth over, Ruturaj Gaikwad dropped Sunil Narine’s catch.
