Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) dished out a dominant performance to defeat the Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 57 runs in match 21 of IPL 2026 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, on Tuesday, 13 April. With this, the Sunrisers win their second match of the season. Meanwhile, RR suffered their first loss after starting their IPL 2026 campaign with four wins in four matches. Debutants Praful Hinge and Sakib Hussain took two wickets each as SRH emerged victorious on home soil for the first time this season. Let’s take a look at some top moments. SRH vs RR Match Moments 1. Debutant Praful Hinge takes 3 wickets in first over One of the most remarkable moments of the match saw debutant Praful Hinge take 3 wickets in the very first over of the innings. The Vidarbha pacer, included into the playing XI for this match, made his presence felt instantly as he ran through the in-form Rajasthan Royals’ top-order. He dismissed Vaibhav Sooryavanshi for a golden duck off the second ball of the over. Hinge then dismissed Dhruv Jurel on the fourth ball and Lhuan-dre Pretorius on the last ball, for ducks each. 2. Sandeep Sharma, Dhruv Jurel collide while taking catch Sandeep Sharma and Dhruv Jurel collided while taking Ishan Kishan’s catch. This incident happened in the 14th over of the first innings when Kishan attempted a big shot off Sandeep but ended up miscuing the shot. Sandeep and Jurel both attempted the catch and ended up colliding. Fortunately for the Rajasthan Royals, Sandeep ended up holding onto the catch despite the collision and the two did not suffer any injury as well. Archer takes wicket on the first ball of the second consecutive match Jofra Archer took a wicket on the first ball of an IPL match for the second consecutive time. He dismissed Abhishek Sharma for a golden duck. Earlier, on 10 April, Archer had also dismissed Phil Salt on the first ball against RCB. In terms of most wickets on the first ball in IPL, Mohammed Shami is at the top with five wickets. Archer is in second place with four wickets. For Rajasthan, this was the 24th time the team took the first wicket without conceding any runs. This is the most for any team in the IPL. Also, it was the 12th time Rajasthan took a wicket on the very first ball of the innings. 4. Floodlights went off, spectators lit up flashes The game was stopped in the 13th over due to floodlights going off. Darkness enveloped the field and spectators lit up their mobile flashes. During the break, Ishan Kishan was seen drying himself with a towel, while Riyan Parag and Sandeep Sharma were seen talking. 5. Donovan Ferreira hit a 102-meter long six In the 11th over, Donovan Ferreira hit a 102-meter six. He stepped forward and played a shot off Harsh Dubey’s full-length delivery, sending the ball 102 meters over deep mid-wicket. Ferreira was bowled by debutant Sakib Hussain on the last ball of the 15th over. 6. Sakib Hussain records best bowling figures on IPL debut Sakib Hussain registered the best bowling figures on IPL debut, taking 4 wickets for 24 runs.
