The disappearance of the viral girl has deepened the troubles for her husband Farmaan Khan. In Khargone, the girl’s mother made an emotional appeal, saying her daughter is missing and should return home from wherever she is. She held Farmaan Khan fully responsible for the situation. Meanwhile, Supreme Court advocate A.P. Singh reached Ujjain on Sunday. Addressing a press conference, he shared his views on the case and termed the alleged conversion of a minor as part of an organised racket. He demanded a high-level investigation and strict action against those involved. Case registered under serious sections: Singh Advocate A.P. Singh said he had come to Ujjain for darshan at the Mahakaleshwar Temple when he came to know about the case. According to him, a minor tribal girl was allegedly converted and then married, which he described as a serious offence. He added that the National Commission for Women, National Commission for Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes Commission and Tribal Commission have taken cognisance of the matter. During the investigation, it was found that the victim’s recorded date of birth is 30 February 2009, while the marriage date is shown as 19 March 2026. Based on these documents, the victim’s age is around 16 years, confirming she is a minor. The advocate said the case has been registered under the POCSO Act, the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and other serious charges related to sexual exploitation. In addition, two officials from Maheshwar police station have been suspended for allegedly preparing fake documents. He also raised suspicion about the role of certain organisations and political elements in the case. Mother alleges planned conspiracy by Farmaan In the missing “viral girl” case, the mother has blamed Farmaan Khan, claiming he is responsible and has sought help from the administration. She said that all videos circulating on social media are part of a planned conspiracy by Farmaan Khan. She alleged that he is deliberately spreading false information to mislead the investigation. She urged the government to trace her daughter as soon as possible and bring her back home. Minor status confirmed earlier The case had already drawn significant attention as the National Tribal Commission’s investigation had indicated that the girl was a minor. Following this, Hindu organisations had termed it a “love jihad” case and staged protests. Now, the disappearance of the viral girl from Pushkar in Ajmer and a video by Farmaan claiming to search for her have once again intensified the matter.
