Film director Sanoj Mishra has expressed happiness over the decision of the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) in the marriage case of Mahakumbh’s viral girl. According to the commission’s report, her age was only 16 years, 2 months, and 12 days during the marriage that took place on March 11, 2026. Following this report, a case has been registered against girl’s husband, Farman Khan, under the POCSO Act. After the commission declared girl a minor, Sanoj said that truth has prevailed. He alleged that a big conspiracy was hatched to defame him and girl’s family. According to Sanoj, she was brainwashed into making false accusations, but now the truth is out for everyone to see. Said – It was a conspiracy to trap me During the controversy, the girl had made several serious allegations against her parents and director Sanoj Mishra. She questioned the character of her parents and accused Sanoj of molestation. Now Sanoj Mishra says that all this was said under the influence of Farman. Sanoj Mishra shared his views by releasing a video on social media. He stated that the allegations of molestation made against him during the controversy were completely false. Sanoj said, she is an innocent girl, she was misled and turned against her parents and me. Poison was filled in his mind against me so that I could be sent to jail. Because of these controversies, I was so broken that many times the thought of suicide came to my mind, but God gave me courage. He said that the commission has also expressed concern over the involvement of organisations like PFI and CPI-M in this matter. Sanoj claims that fake Aadhaar cards and documents were prepared to show the girl as an adult. He said that this was not just a marriage, but a deep conspiracy that was tried to be suppressed by giving it the name of ‘love’. Punishment for supporting the family Sanoj said that he stood by girl’s parents from the beginning. When the family declared their daughter a minor, Sanoj raised their voice on every platform. He had filed a complaint with the Madhya Pradesh Police and the National Human Rights Commission. Sanoj said, “What was my crime? Is it a crime to make films on issues like love jihad and religious conversion?
