In a disturbing incident in Bagh Sevenia police station area of Bhopal, an elderly woman, estimated to be over 60, was allegedly thrown from a moving car by unidentified individuals near Laharpur Bridge. The woman sustained stapler pin injuries to her chest and was rushed to hospital in a bloodied state, where she is currently receiving treatment. The woman has been unable to provide her full identity, only stating “Salkanpur,” while the name “Bhagwati” is tattooed on her hand. No FIR has been registered yet, with police stating that further action will be determined after investigation. Incident reportedly occurred around 2:30 am between Sunday and Monday near the Laharpur Bridge drain, when a speeding car approached and its occupants deliberately pushed the elderly woman out of the moving vehicle. Local eyewitnesses report seeing the woman thrown from the car. Residents immediately informed a local NGO, Chitransh Human Welfare, which rushed her to Hamidia Hospital with police assistance. Police continue to investigate, including reviewing CCTV footage along the bridge and nearby routes, but no leads have emerged regarding the perpetrators.
