An associate of the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Rajpal, surrendered in his native village Ratnyakhedi in Nagda district on Thursday. According to the information, during the surrender, he admitted to orchestrating a firing incident at a businessman’s residence. Claims attack was to ‘teach a lesson’ Rajpal claimed that the businessman allegedly had inappropriate intentions toward young girls and exploited farmers. He said the attack was carried out to “teach him a lesson.” According to him, his associates had initially tried to execute the plan but failed. Later, the attack was carried out with the help of another accomplice known as “Harry Boxer.” The identity and location of the targeted businessman remain unclear. Named in Mohali rocket launcher attack Rajpal has previously been named in the rocket launcher attack on the Punjab Police Intelligence Headquarters in Mohali, highlighting his links to serious criminal activities. Alleges police harassment of family He alleged that police harassment of his family forced him to surrender. Rajpal also claimed that multiple state police forces and national agencies had questioned him earlier. Links to other criminal cases Rajpal, along with Yogesh Bhati, has been linked to several major criminal cases. Both were also accused of sheltering Deepak Ranga in connection with the Mohali attack. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) had earlier questioned them. Warning before surrender Before surrendering, Rajpal warned that the Lawrence gang would not spare those involved in wrongdoing. He also claimed the gang has been assisting the administration and would continue to do so.
