Traffic restrictions and diversion will be enforced in view of the Hanuman Jayanti procession on April 2, while the police have issued a special traffic plan in Bhopal in view of religious processions. Traffic movement, especially in Old Bhopal, will be significantly affected from 4 PM onwards. The traffic police have decided to close several routes and implement diversions along two major procession routes. Citizens have been advised to use alternative routes such as Lalghati and VIP Road to avoid congestion. Two major procession routes finalised First procession route The procession will begin from the Talaiya area and pass through Budhwara Square, Itwara, Azad Market, Chhote Bhaiya, Ghoda Nakkas, Bus Stand, Bhopal Talkies, and conclude at Sindhi Colony. Second procession route This procession will start from the Vishva Hindu Parishad office at Om Agrawal Dharamshala and move through Chhola Road, Ganesh Temple, JP Nagar Square, DIG Bungalow Square, Qazi Camp, and end at Sindhi Colony Square.
