A farmer committed suicide by consuming poison in Dewas district of Madhya Pradesh. He had been under financial pressure and mental stress for some time. Before committing suicide, Sunil left a suicide note in which he made serious allegations against a trader. The case is from the village of Bamangaon in the Khategaon area. According to information, the deceased has been identified as 48-year-old farmer Sunil Pawar (Vishnoi). A video from before his death has also surfaced, in which the farmer says that the trader harassed him. He consumed poison because of the trader. Death occurred in hospital after consuming sulphas According to family members, Sunil had consumed sulphas. When his condition deteriorated, he was taken to a private hospital in Khategaon, where doctors declared him dead during treatment. Before his death, Sunil named trader Mukesh Kumar Agrawal of Kannaud in his statement to the police. He spoke of mental harassment. Suicide note mentions ₹5.62 lakh The suicide note found by the police states that businessman Mukesh Kumar Agarwal owed Sunil approximately ₹5 lakh 62 thousand, which had not been paid for a long time. The allegation is that when asked for the money, the businessman would threaten him and mentally harass him, which caused him stress. Corn purchasing work through ‘Shriram Traders’ Before his death, he wrote in the suicide note: Mukesh Kumar Agrawal repeatedly threatened to kill me. He has not paid me ₹5,62,312. Whenever I go to ask for the money, he abuses me. He even filed a false complaint against me at Kannaud police station and had me locked up on 29/03/26. I used to purchase maize under Mukesh’s licence and also paid him commission. My entire payment used to come to Shriram Traders earlier, but he developed dishonest intentions and stopped paying me. Before this, I had worked with Shri Balaji Traders Kannod, Shri Shivay Traders Khategaon, and Bhawani Traders Khategaon, and all of them paid me honestly. My family is very good, and I have no complaints against them. After my death, I request that the administration help them. I am in shock. I had a good reputation in society and have no criminal record. I am only 48 years old. Anger among family members, demand for strict action There is anger in the family after the incident. Family members have demanded strict action against the accused trader. They say that Sunil took this step due to harassment and non-payment of money. Police engaged in investigation, FIR not registered yet According to Khategaon TI Vijay Singh Lodhi, the case is being investigated, and an FIR has not been registered yet. He said that further action will be taken only after examining the suicide note and other facts. After the postmortem, the body has been handed over to the family members.
