An 11-year-old girl was allegedly gang raped by two minors under the Jharada police station area in Ujjain district on Saturday. According to the information, a 75-year-old man allowed the juveniles to use his house to carry out the assault. During the incident, he stood guard outside along with another associate aged 57. According to police, the incident took place on 28 March. Two minors from the same village (aged 14 and 15) lured the girl to the house of Bhanwar (75). During the assault, Bhanwar, along with his associate Nathu Swaroop (57), kept watch outside, while another villager, Rahul (22), recorded a video of the incident. Victim informed family The case came to light when the victim narrated the incident to her family. Shocked relatives immediately informed the police. Acting swiftly, police registered a case against all five accused, including the elderly man and the middle-aged accomplice, under sections of rape, the POCSO Act, SC/ST Act, and IT Act. SP Pradeep Sharma said that police took prompt action and arrested all five accused. The adult accused have been produced in court and sent to jail.
