sub-inspector-main-exam-will-now-be-held-on-april-29:date-changed-for-3rd-time,-5734-candidates-to-participate

Madhya Pradesh Employee Selection Board (ESB) has once again changed the date of the main examination (second phase) of Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) and Sub-Inspector Recruitment Examination-2025. Now this exam will be held on April 29, 2026. Earlier, the exam was scheduled for April 9, then April 26. Due to frequent changes, candidates remained in a state of confusion, however ESB officials say that this decision has been taken in the interest of candidates. Actually, this change has been made considering the clash with the MPPSC preliminary examination to be held on April 27, so that candidates can appear in both examinations. 5734 candidates eligible for second phase
Only those candidates who have passed the first phase written examination will participate in the main examination of this recruitment. The result of the first phase was declared on March 12. This examination was conducted in January 2025. Based on this, a total of 5734 candidates have been declared eligible for the second phase. Exam date changed for the third time
ESB had initially planned to conduct this examination on April 9, 2026. Later, it was extended to April 26, but now, according to the new revised notice, the examination will be held on April 29. Thus, the recruitment examination date has been changed three times. According to ESB officials, the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) preliminary examination is scheduled for April 27. A large number of candidates appear in both examinations. To avoid a clash situation, it has been decided to postpone the main examination date to April 29. Exam fee submission until April 8
According to the revised schedule, candidates can submit the examination fee online from March 25 to April 8, 2026. The board has clarified that only those candidates who have paid the fee within the stipulated time limit will be able to appear in the main examination. According to information received from ESB, examination centers for all candidates may be set up in Bhopal. However, this has not been officially confirmed yet. While the date extension has given candidates extra time for preparation, frequent changes have also created a state of confusion.
