A tragic road accident in Madhya Pradesh’s Mandsaur district claimed the life of a 3-year-old child on Thursday afternoon. A speeding car rammed into a scooter carrying four people in the Fatehgarh police station area. Three others, including the child’s mother, sustained serious injuries. Victim identified, 3 critically injured The deceased has been identified as Ziyan, son of Zahid. The injured include Shanu (30), Naira (25), and three-month-old baby Hania. Naira suffered severe injuries to her head, legs, and multiple parts of her body. Shanu sustained serious wounds to his legs, head, mouth, and hands. All three are reported to be in critical condition. See these images related to the accident… Family was on way to hospital According to eyewitnesses, the two women were taking their children to Dhundhadka hospital when the accident occurred. A speeding Swift car (MP 43 CB 4132), travelling from Mandsaur to Jawara, suddenly crashed into their scooter. Impact threw victims into parked truck The collision was extremely severe, shattering the scooter and badly damaging the front portion of the car. All four victims were flung into the air and then crashed into a parked truck nearby, worsening their injuries. Highway blocked, 3-Km traffic jam Following the accident, angry locals and family members blocked the Mhow–Neemuch four-lane highway. The protest led to a massive traffic jam stretching nearly 3 kilometres, bringing movement to a complete halt. Police struggle to control situation Police reached the spot soon after receiving information and attempted to pacify the crowd. However, the situation remained tense for a long time due to public anger. Injured referred to Udaipur According to Fatehgarh Police, the injured were initially taken to Mandsaur District Hospital. After primary treatment, all three were referred to Udaipur for advanced care. Their condition remains critical.
