The Indian benchmark indices opened higher on Wednesday, 25 March, 2026. The 30-share Sensex advanced 1,111 points in early trade. Similarly, Nifty added 360 points to its kitty. The former soared past the 75,000 mark. Trump claims Iran agrees to not develop nuclear weapons Speaking to the media at the White House, US President Donald Trump said talks between the two countries are ongoing and that Iran wants a deal. He added, “Our first condition is that Iran will not develop nuclear weapons, and this has been agreed.” Among the Sensex pack, stocks like Ultracement, MM, Adani Ports, Tata Steel, Bajaj Finance, Kotak Bank, Eternal were among the leaders. Sectorally, barring IT, all other indices on the NSE soared today with realty, consumer durables and media leading the pack.
