Ordering food from food delivery platform Swiggy has now become more expensive. The company has increased the platform fee by 17% on orders from Tuesday, 24 March, 2026. Users will now have to pay ₹17.58 platform fees per order as against ₹14.99 earlier. Swiggy had last hiked its platform fee in September last year. Platform fee is an additional charge applicable on every food order. This is separate from GST, restaurant charges and delivery fees. Swiggy vs Zomato – platform fee compared Earlier this month, Zomato had also increased platform fee by 19% to ₹14.90 instead of ₹12.50 (higher by ₹2.40 per order). The food deliver app delivers 20 to 25 lakh orders daily.
