New Zealand defeated South Africa by 68 runs in the 2nd T20I of the five-match series on Tuesday, 17 March. With this victory, New Zealand have levelled the series 1-1 after going down in the first match on Sunday. Chasing 176 to win, South Africa were bowled out for 107 in 15.3 overs with Lockie Ferguson (3/16) and Ben Sears (3/14) taking three wickets each. Devon Conway, whose 60 powered New Zealand to 175/6, was named Player of the Match.
