The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has launched the recruitment process for the Group-5 Combined Recruitment Examination-2026 to fill vacancies in health services across Madhya Pradesh. Under this recruitment drive, a total of 373 vacancies will be filled in government medical colleges, hospitals and departmental institutions across the state. The posts include staff nurse, paramedical staff and other technical positions. The online application process began on March 16, and eligible candidates can submit their applications until March 30. Key dates for the recruitment The ESB has released the schedule for the recruitment process: Candidates who qualify in the examination will undergo document verification, after which the final merit list will be prepared and selected candidates will be appointed in the respective departments. The question paper will consist of two sections: General subjects – 25 marks This section will include questions from: Technical subjects – 75 marks This section will contain questions related to technical knowledge of the specific post applied for. To ensure fairness across different shifts of the exam, the results will be prepared using the Normalised Equi-Percentile (NEP) scaling method. This normalization process balances variations in question paper difficulty between different exam sessions. Selection process Candidates who successfully clear the online examination will be called for further stages of the selection process. Eligibility criteria For most paramedical posts, candidates must have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB). Additionally, candidates must hold a relevant degree, diploma or certification in the respective field. Some positions also require mandatory registration with the relevant professional council. For example, candidates applying for the pharmacist post must have a degree or diploma in pharmacy and be registered with the Madhya Pradesh Pharmacy Council.
