Considering passenger inconvenience, India’s budget airline IndiGo has decided to extend full waiver on cancellations of flight ticktets untill March 31, 2026. This facility is already being given to the passengers. The no frills airline has extended this facility on all flights enroute to and from the West Asia, and Istanbul, until March 31. The Gurugram based air carrier has also issued customer contact centre number of +91 124 6173838 for any additional support or clarification. Earlier, other major airlines like Air India, Emirates and Etihad had offered full refunds on ticket cancellations and free flight rescheduling facility to the passengers. Air India Air India Express: Full waiver for travel until March 10 Air India and Air India Express had stated that passengers who booked tickets on or before February 28 and had travel scheduled until March 10 can reschedule their flights without any extra charge. If passengers do not wish to travel, they can request a full refund of their ticket. This can be applied for by visiting the company’s website. Etihad Airways had said that passengers with travel until March 7 can get their money back by filling out a refund form. Meanwhile, Emirates had said that passengers can choose rebooking or refund options for flights until March 12. Qatar Airways: Benefits available on bookings until March 15 Qatar Airways had provided relief to travelers who were traveling between February 28 and March 15. Passengers can choose any new date within 14 days of their original date or get a refund for the unused value of their ticket. The airline had appealed to passengers to check flight status before leaving for the airport.
