4 families from Jabalpur stranded in Dubai:Release video seeking help; allege hotels tripled room rates

Due to flight cancellations caused by Iran-Israel tensions, 4 businessmen from Jabalpur along with their families are stranded in Dubai. Due to uncertain conditions, their return to India is currently not possible. According to information, city businessmen Shailesh Jain, Prashant Vishwakarma, Sanjay Singhai and Praveen Jain went to Dubai with their families on February 21. All were scheduled to return on February 28. Due to increased tension in the region, many international flights were cancelled, while some were postponed indefinitely. Because of this, they have been forced to stay there. Traders stranded in Dubai released two videos on Tuesday explaining their situation. They said that the area where they are staying is currently normal and safe. However, there is no information about when airport operations and flights will return to normal, which has increased concerns. Rising hotel costs have increased troubles According to traders, continuously rising hotel costs have added to their troubles. Amid tense conditions, many hotels have tripled their rates. The necessity of staying for longer periods is causing a steadily increasing financial burden. Due to having children and elderly people with them, they are also feeling mental pressure. Appealed to government for safe return home The stranded traders have appealed to the central government for help with safe return. They have expressed hope that the government will take steps to bring them back home soon through special arrangements. Former MLA from Indore among many travelers returning UAE-stranded former Indore MLA Sanjay Shukla and several other travelers are now returning to India. These people had been stuck there for the past few days due to affected flights in Dubai and Sharjah. Those returning include former MLA Vishal Patel, Pravin Kakkad, industrialist Manish Shahra, Manish Agarwal, Pintu Chabra, Golu Patni, Utpal Goyal, Aditya Sharma and other passengers. Flights were continuously being cancelled due to war Many flights were cancelled after conditions deteriorated in UAE. Air India Express flight IX-256 from Sharjah to Indore had been continuously cancelled since February 28. This flight did not operate on March 3 either.
