MP govt increases DA by 3%, now set at 58%:CM says, ‘arrears to be paid in 6 instalments; 7.3 lakh staff, 4.3 lakh pensioners to benefit’

The MP government has given major relief to employees and pensioners. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has announced a 3 percent increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) for state employees. This will cover 7.30 lakh employees, officers, and about 4.30 lakh pensioners of the state. After the increase, employees will now receive 58 percent dearness allowance. Along with this, pensioners will also be given DR at the same rate. The Chief Minister said that the arrears amount of the increased dearness allowance will be given in 6 equal installments. This will provide phased benefits to employees and will not put one-time financial pressure on the government. Currently getting 55% DA The state employees were getting 55 percent DA till now, while the central government is giving 58 percent. There had been a long-standing demand to give dearness allowance equal to the center, on which the government has now taken a decision.
