2. WhatsApp and Telegram won’t work without active SIM From today, ‘SIM-binding’ rules have been implemented for messaging apps. After this government rule, apps like WhatsApp, Telegram and Signal will only work when the same SIM card used to create the account is active in the phone. Additionally, if you use apps like WhatsApp on computer, the WhatsApp login will also log out after 6 hours. Previously, it would keep running for weeks after logging in once.
