schools-cannot-pressure-for-uniform-and-book-purchase:8-sdms-will-take-action-in-bhopal;-collector-issued-orders-and-formed-teams

Even before the start of the new academic session, the Bhopal district administration has gone into action mode regarding the purchase and sale of uniforms and books. Collector Kaushilendra Vikram Singh has issued orders regarding uniforms and books in private schools. He has assigned responsibility to 8 SDMs to take action. According to the order, private school management and principals cannot pressure parents to purchase books, uniforms, and stationery. Currently, there are many schools where students or parents are forced to buy uniforms, shoes, ties, books, and notebooks only from designated shops. To prevent this from happening in the new session, the Collector has formed a 5-member team, including the SDM in each section. This includes the concerned SDM, Tehsildar, and principals of government schools. Schools will open from April after exams
Currently, exams are going on in schools, which will also continue in March. After this, schools will reopen in April. During this time, pressure is put on parents to buy uniforms, books, and other educational materials. Last year, too, Collector Singh had issued orders before the new academic session. Made them responsible Team will take action on complaints
The Collector has told the team that as soon as a complaint is received from any parent, immediate action should be taken on it. Action should be taken against the concerned school management.
