A dispute in Gwalior escalated into violence after an argument over removing a ladder placed on the road. Miscreants allegedly tried to forcibly drag a woman travelling in an SUV. She managed to escape and reached home safely, but soon after, four to five accused arrived at her residence and created chaos. The accused allegedly dragged the woman, her daughters and other family members out of the house and assaulted them. They also vandalised her Thar SUV parked outside. During the incident, one of the accused, identified as Bunty Yadav, allegedly pulled out a pistol and fired shots in the air to intimidate the family. The incident took place on Tuesday evening in the Model Town area under Sirol police station limits and was captured on CCTV cameras installed at a neighbouring house. Following the incident, police conducted a raid at the house of Bunty Yadav’s sister while searching for the accused. During the search, officers recovered a large cache of illegal weapons, including three rifles, two pistols, one country-made pistol, nine magazines and more than 100 live cartridges. Police have taken Bunty Yadav’s sister and brother-in-law into custody, and both are currently being questioned as part of the ongoing investigation. See 3 pictures… Attempt to assault woman after abusing her over ladder dispute Anu Sharma, a resident of Model Town who works at Laser Treatment Body Solutions, was returning home in her Thar vehicle around 6:30 pm on Tuesday. On the way, she noticed a ladder placed on the road outside Bunty Yadav’s house. When she asked him to remove it, Bunty allegedly began abusing her and attempted to assault her. Anu somehow managed to maneuver her vehicle past the obstruction and reached home safely. At the time, her guests, Sanskar Sharma and Vikas Yadav, were present at her residence. Shortly afterwards, Bunty Yadav arrived at her house along with his son Anshul Yadav, Dammo Yadav and Surya Yadav, all carrying sticks and clubs. The accused allegedly attacked the guests and assaulted them. They also allegedly tried to drag Anu Sharma and her daughters out of the house and beat them. The accused then vandalised her Thar vehicle parked outside. To create panic and threaten the family, Bunty Yadav allegedly fired shots in the air using a pistol. Arsenal of weapons found at the sister’s house of miscreants After the incident, police began searching for miscreant Bunty Yadav and his sons, but they were not found. During investigation, police received information that Bunty Yadav could be hiding at his sister Sapna Yadav’s house, wife of Manish Yadav, in the Hurawali area. When police reached there, Bunty and his sons were not present, but during the house search, an arsenal of illegal weapons was recovered. Police recovered three 315 bore rifles, two 32 bore pistols, one 315 bore country-made pistol, 52 live cartridges of 315 bore, 17 live cartridges of 32 bore, six cartridges of 306 bore, 22 bullets of different bores and a total of nine magazines from sister-brother-in-law’s house. During interrogation, Sapna Yadav and Manish Yadav revealed that all these weapons belong to Bunty Yadav and his sons. Police have seized all illegal weapons and taken Sapna Yadav and Manish Yadav into custody. Sirol Police Station says that the search for the accused in the case of assault and aerial firing is ongoing. They are also investigating where these weapons were sourced from.
