She instilled such values in her five daughters, Mridula Chaudhary, Kumudini Mahalaha, Kirti Verma, Vandana Verma, and Mayuri Galar, that today they have left behind societal conventions. For some years, she was completely in a wheelchair Daughter Mridula said that our mother gave us very good values from the beginning. One by one, when all five daughters got married, she lived alone and managed all the work herself. For 10 years, all the daughters kept her with them in different phases and served her well. For some years, she was completely in a wheelchair. In her last moments, she was with her eldest daughter, Kumudini. During this time, too, all the daughters went there and served her. She had been ill for a week. After her demise on Monday, all the sisters, with mutual consent, decided to donate her eyes, skin, and body. This occasion gave a message to society that life can be made meaningful even after death. In this poignant moment, the five daughters shouldered their mother’s bier. The funeral rites were performed symbolically through a ‘hawan’ (fire ritual) and chanting of mantras, according to the tradition of the Gayatri Parivar. Illuminated the world even after death When Santosh Verma breathed her last on Monday, the five sisters, with mutual consent, made a big decision. Eye Donation: Her eyes were donated through Index Medical College, which will bring light into the lives of two blind individuals. Skin Donation: Her skin was also donated, which will be useful for a severely burnt person. Body Donation: In the end, his body was handed over to the Medical Research Center, so that future doctors could learn medical skills.
