Several shocking revelations have come to light in the case of the robbery at the eunuch’s house in Ambah, Morena. The crime was carried out by an uncle-nephew duo. The uncle-nephew duo involved 9 other people they met in jail and attempted robberies at three locations in five days. Twice the criminals failed, but the third time they robbed the eunuch’s house in Ambah and fled. The robbers also held people hostage and committed obscene acts. According to the police, all the arrested and absconding accused have previously been involved in crimes in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. So far, 5 criminals, including nephew Sunil Nishad, have been apprehended. Meanwhile, 6 accused, including uncle Suresh Nishad, are still at large. Both have been active in criminal activities for a long time. While imprisoned, they became acquainted with other criminals. Their closeness grew due to being from the same community and caste, as well as having a similar modus operandi for committing crimes. After being released from jail, the uncle-nephew maintained contact and gradually formed a gang by adding 9 people. The investigation has revealed that all 11 accused involved in this dacoity are hardcore criminals. Cases are registered against them in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. Their involvement has also come to light in a major dacoity that occurred in the Udi Mod area of Bhind district. One of the culprits was speaking Persian Transgender Rabia told the police that after looting gold and silver, the culprits took all the disciples one by one to a separate room, made them undress, and committed obscene acts. During this, the culprits repeatedly kept asking if there was any man in the house or not. One of the culprits was speaking Persian, which raises the suspicion that a known transgender person might be behind the incident. Muslim Sai used to visit Rabia eunuch’s place with a friend of Ria eunuch during previous events. Muslim Sai had seen the eunuchs wearing heavy jewellery at programs and keeping them safe. He gave this information to his son-in-law. The son-in-law told this to Sunil Nishad, a resident of Sikroda village in the Gormi area of Bhind district. After this, Sunil Nishad informed his maternal uncle Suresh Nishad, who gathered the entire gang and planned the incident. Police scanned more than 500 CCTVs After the robbery, Morena police took this case as a major challenge. The SP formed four special teams, which were engaged in investigation from different angles. Due to being a border area, the police extended their investigation to Dholpur district of Rajasthan and Agra district of Uttar Pradesh. Footage from over 500 CCTV cameras was scanned. However, the sniffer dog could not provide any concrete clue in this case. After this, the police focused on old crime records and man-to-man policing. During this time, an informant came into contact with the police, who provided crucial information. The informant had seen some criminals distributing money and jewellery. 5 Arrested from different states, 6 absconding Based on the informant’s tip-off, the police raided different states. Some accused were caught in Gujarat, while others were caught in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. So far, five accused have been arrested in this case. Meanwhile, the police are continuously raiding three states for the arrest of 6 people. Full property not recovered, investigation ongoing So far, the police have recovered about one and a half lakh rupees in cash, one and a half kilograms of silver, and 6 tola of gold from the accused. The remaining property and the arrest of the absconding accused are still pending. The entire gang was exposed about 28 days after the incident. Police say that this is an organized and cunning interstate gang, which carried out the incidents in a planned manner. After the arrest of the remaining accused, several more dacoities are likely to be exposed.
