Delhi Police have arrested two more Youth Congress leaders from Gwalior in connection with a protest during the AI Impact Summit held in the national capital. The arrested leaders have been identified as Raja Gurjar and Ajay Kumar. Earlier, Youth Congress leader Jitendra Yadav had also been taken into custody in the same case. The action relates to an alleged disruption during the AI Impact Summit organized at a venue in Delhi. Authorities claim that the accused created a disturbance at the event, and their identification was made based on a video that surfaced on social media. Taken to Delhi for further questioning A team from Tilak Nagar Police Station in Delhi arrived in Gwalior to carry out the arrests. With assistance from local police, raids were conducted in the University Police Station area and the Jhansi Road Police Station area, leading to the detention of the three accused. According to police sources, the arrested leaders have been taken to Delhi for further questioning. It is reported that Raja Gurjar, former District President (Rural) of the Youth Congress, and Ajay Kumar, former District Vice-President of the Youth Congress in Bhind, surrendered at the Jhansi Road Police Station. Sources suggest that after alleged pressure was mounted on their family members, the two leaders chose to surrender. In the presence of local police, the Delhi Police team then took them to the national capital. Political tension rises Following the arrests, the local political atmosphere has heated up, with Youth Congress workers expressing anger over the action. However, police officials have stated that the operation was conducted strictly in accordance with the law and based on available evidence. Further legal proceedings are underway against the three accused as per due process.
