A major update has come for candidates aspiring to become Assistant Professors in government colleges across Madhya Pradesh. The Madhya Pradesh State Eligibility Test (MP SET) 2025, conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC), will be held on March 1 across 12 divisional headquarters in the state. This year, the examination has received a record number of applications, marking a significant rise compared to previous years. Record number of applicants According to official data, a total of 1,46,405 candidates have registered for MP SET 2025. This is nearly 25,000 more than last year’s (2024) figures, reflecting growing interest among youth seeking academic careers in higher education. The exam will be conducted for 31 subjects, including Hindi, English, History, Commerce, and various Science disciplines. Exam postponed earlier The examination was initially scheduled to be held on January 11. However, due to administrative reasons, the Commission postponed it to March 1. The MPPSC Steering Committee has now confirmed that all necessary preparations have been completed for the smooth conduct of the examination. Admit cards from February 20 Candidates will be able to download their admit cards from February 20 through the official website of the MPPSC. Authorities have advised applicants to download their hall tickets well in advance and carefully check all details mentioned on them. Strict measures to prevent malpractice To ensure transparency and fairness, the Commission has put in place stringent security arrangements. With preparations complete and security tightened, the MP SET 2025 is expected to be conducted smoothly across the state on March 1.
