In protest against the semi-clad demonstration by Congress workers during the AI Impact Summit in Delhi, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha laid siege to the Congress office in Indore. BJYM workers reached Gandhi Bhavan, where police stopped them by putting up barricades. On the other side, a large number of Indian National Congress workers also gathered at the office. As workers of both parties came face to face, a confrontation-like situation developed and stones were thrown at each other. During the incident, Sub-Inspector R. S. Baghel was injured. However, police are trying to control both sides and are using water spray to restrain them. Protest over Bharat Mandapam incident BJYM leaders alleged that during the AI Impact Summit held at Bharat Mandapam, Congress workers staged an inappropriate protest that attempted to tarnish the country’s image. BJYM city president Saugat Mishra said the organisation would protest outside the Congress office in the city. He added that when the whole world is praising India’s technological capability and leadership in artificial intelligence, such a protest at the behest of Rahul Gandhi is unfortunate and against the dignity of the nation.
