India to face South Africa on 22 February:3 double-headers in 12 matches; Super 8 schedule revealed

The Super-8 teams for T-20 World Cup 2026 have been decided. From Group A, India and Pakistan have qualified for the next round. But when and where will these teams play their matches? Which team has been placed in which group and when will their matches be held. 20 teams participated in this tournament. Teams were divided into 4 different groups of 5 each. After 36 matches were completed, the 8 teams for the next round were decided. Three matches were played on Thursday, but these did not affect the Super-8. Today Australia-Oman will play the last group match, but this will also have no impact on the Super-8. In the Super-8 stage, there will be 2 groups of 4 teams each. Every team will play 3 matches against others in their group. This means 6 matches in one group. Thus, combining both groups, 12 matches will be played. Top 2 teams from each group will advance to the next round. In the Super-8 stage, 2 matches each will be played on February 22, 26, and March 1. On other days from February 20 to 28, there will be only 1 match per day. The first semifinal will be on March 4, while the second semifinal will be played at Wankhede Stadium on March 5. The winning teams will face each other in the final on March 8. If Pakistan makes it to the knockout round, all their matches will be played in Colombo. The Super-8 stage of the tournament that started on February 7 will begin from February 21. The first match will be played between New Zealand and Pakistan. In Group-2, besides New Zealand, England and Sri Lanka have also qualified. India’s first match against South Africa on Feb 22
Team India will play their first match against South Africa in Ahmedabad on February 22. The team will then face Zimbabwe in Chennai on February 26. India’s last Super-8 match will be against West Indies in Kolkata on March 1.
