India-Brazil trade size exceeds ₹1 lakh crore:Falling imports rising exports, New Delhi enjoys positive trade balance with Brasilia

Brazil, President, Lula da Silva is on a 5-day India visit which concludes on 22 Februry 2026. Lula landed on Wednesday for the India AI Impact Summit and hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Well, India and Brazil’s aggregate trade size has only swollen in recent years, rising by 92% to ₹103,349.68 crore in FY25 from ₹53,705.19 crore in FY21. New Delhi’s exports to Brasilia up 15% YoY in FY25 India’s exports to Brazil augmented 15% Year-on-Year (YoY) to ₹57,219.52 crore in FY25 from ₹49,809.13 crore in FY24. Latter accounted for 1.55% out of India’s total exports of ₹37,03,412.02 crore in fiscal 2025. India’s imports from Brazil fall 10% YoY in FY25 India’s imports from Brazil fell 10% YoY to ₹46,130.16 crore in FY25 from ₹51,432.62 crore in FY24. Out of India’s total imports of ₹6,098,209.88 crore, Brazil’s share stood at 0.76% in FY25. What India exports to Brazil? India’s primary exports to Brazil consist of refined petroleum products (diesel), agro-chemicals (insecticides, fungicides), pharmaceuticals, organic chemicals, and machinery. Top Indian Exports to Brazil: Chemicals Pharmaceuticals: Organic chemicals, nitrogen heterocyclic compounds, and pharmaceutical products (medicaments, vaccines) are major exports. Petroleum Products: Processed petroleum products, particularly diesel, are a significant, high-value export. Engineering Machinery: Nuclear reactors, boilers, electrical equipment, and mechanical appliances. Agro-chemicals: Insecticides and fungicides. Automotive Components: Parts and accessories for motorcycles. Raw Materials Textiles: Iron and steel products, and textured filament yarn. What India imports from Brazil?
