‘Imad Wasim is a murderer, got my child aborted’:Pakistani cricketer’s ex-wife makes serious allegations, seeks help from Mohsin Naqvi

Ex-Pakistani cricketer Imad Wasim finds himself in hot water after being hit with serious allegations by his former wife, Sannia Ashfaq. Sannia and Imad tied the knot in 2019 and are parents to three children. The two got divorced last December. Sannia subsequently shared multiple posts on Instagram accusing Imad of cheating on her and recently, also shared a WhatsApp chat with the former Pakistani cricketer. Imad had posted a statement on Instagram, announcing divorce ‘due to repeated conflicts that could not be resolved over the past few years’. After divorcing Sannia, Imad married lawyer and influencer Nyla Raja. Sannia Ashfaq accuses Imad Wasim of murder A couple of days ago, Sannia took to Instagram to share a post where she called Imad a ‘murderer’ while accusing him of forcing her to have an abortion. She made these allegations after sharing a picture of Imad Wasim being sold to Islamabad United in Pakistan Super League’s first-ever auction earlier this year. “In December 2023, he got my child aborted in Lahore. He’s a murderer, and I have a video that proves it. He cheated on me. @islamabadunitedpsl has given a chance to a murderer and a cheater. #boycottislamabadunited, no cheater or murderer should get an escape,” she wrote on Instagram. In an Instagram video a day ago, Sannia narrated her ordeal of undergoing an abortion ‘against her choice’. Furthermore, she said that it caused her ‘severe physical and emotional trauma’ and that she did not receive any financial support during her pregnancy. Sannia went on to appeal to Islamabad United to take action against Imad and urged Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Naqvi to take notice of this matter and conduct a ‘fair investigation.’ Sannia shares WhatsApp chat with Imad Wasim In another Instagram post, Sannia shared screenshots of a WhatsApp chat with Imad, where she asked him to visit the hospital when she was about to give birth. “I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable. I simply asked him to come and see his own unborn son, to be there, to care, to show even a little bit of love for the life growing inside me,” she wrote. “And instead of support… instead of concern… he threatened me. He said that if I contacted him again, he would file a harassment case against me. While I was carrying his child,” Sannia captioned the post. Imad Wasim calls marriage to Sannia Ashfaq ‘one of the hardest chapters’ Imad, on his Instagram account, said that his marriage to Sannia was one of the ‘hardest chapters’ of his life. In the same post, he also spoke of marrying Nyla, saying that she brought ‘calm, dignity and strength’ into his life.
