Shubman Gill has joined the Gujarat Titans’ pre-season camp for IPL 2026. The India ODI and T20I captain was last seen in action in the Ranji Trophy 2025-26 group stage match on 22-23 January. The right-hander will look to return to form in the upcoming season after having been left out of India’s T20 World Cup squad. IPL 2026 is set to start from 26 March. Shubman Gill starts training with Gujarat Titans before IPL 2026 In a video shared by the Gujarat Titans on social media, Gill was seen sweating it out in the nets. The right-hander played an array of shots on both sides of the wicket and looked in good touch. The Gujarat Titans captain was also seen chatting with head coach Ashish Nehra after batting in the nets. Under Gill’s captaincy, Gujarat Titans impressed last season before losing to Mumbai Indians in the eliminator. Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant sweat it out in nets Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant also sweated it out in the nets as they continued preparation for the upcoming edition of the IPL. Both Iyer and Pant shared glimpses of their training on Instagram. Pant, who was ruled out of the ODI series against New Zealand earlier this year, returned to full training in the nets. The left-hander batted in the nets, unfurling a range of aggressive shots. Hilariously enough, Pant like he has done multiple times in the past, lost control of his bat while playing one of his shots in the nets. Besides his cricket training, Pant also worked hard in the gym. Iyer also hit the nets and trained hard to prepare for the upcoming IPL. He shared snaps from his training session and a couple of videos where he was seen perfecting his drives. “Locked in!” he wrote, while sharing the post on Instagram. Under Iyer’s captaincy, Punjab Kings had reached the IPL 2025 final, their first appearance in the summit clash since 2014. The Indian cricketer has proven his credentials as an IPL captain, winning the title with Kolkata Knight Riders in 2024.
