USA defeated Namibia by 31 runs in a Group A encounter in the T20 World Cup 2026 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, on 15 February. Defending 200, the USA restricted Namibia to 168/6. Captain Monank Patel led the way with an impressive 52 off just 30 balls, hitting three fours and as many sixes. Krishnamurthi emerged as the best batter for USA, scoring his 68 off just 33 deliveries, a knock which included four fours and six sixes. Namibia captain Gerhard Erasmus and Willem Myburgh scalped two wickets each.
