An 18-year-old student preparing for NEET in Kota committed suicide by consuming poison. After consuming the poison, when she started vomiting, she said, “Save me, I made a mistake.” The landlord and a fellow student took her to the hospital, where she died during treatment. The incident occurred on Thursday night at 10 PM in the Dadabari police station area. The student was a resident of Madhya Pradesh and had come to Kota about three months ago. Police, upon receiving information, inspected the scene. After the post-mortem, the body has been handed over to the family. SHO Baldev Ram stated that the student was preparing for NEET while staying in Kota. Upon receiving information about the student’s death, her family arrived in Kota from MP. Further action will be taken based on the family’s complaint. Started Vomiting After Consuming Poison A student from MP (her relative, a brother) studying in Kota, stated that the student’s health deteriorated after consuming poison on Thursday night. When a boy and his sister, who lived in another room in the same house, found out, they called the landlord. She started vomiting. She was saying that I had consumed poison. Save me-save me, I made a mistake. The landlord immediately informed her family about this. The student said- On Thursday afternoon at 1:57 PM, the student called me and said that she needed 100 rupees, she didn’t have any. If you have it, give it to me. Then I gave her 100 rupees. After that, the student’s brother called at night. He said that his sister was unwell. She was vomiting. Come and check once. After this, I went to her house. Immediately, along with the landlord, we took her to a private hospital, where she died during treatment. There was no stress; she was getting good marks in tests The student’s brother, who arrived in Kota from Madhya Pradesh, said that a year ago, she had taken NEET coaching while staying in Kota. After that, she had returned to MP. Just three months ago, she had come to Kota of her own free will to stay for NEET self-study. She had joined an offline test series. She had a brief conversation on Thursday evening. They talked about various things. Her sister spoke to her elder sister at 10 PM when she was vomiting. She had no stress. She was also getting good marks in tests. Spoke to Father at 8 PM The father said that they don’t know why she consumed poison. They received information about their daughter’s deteriorating health at night, after which they left for Kota. He had spoken to her on Thursday night at 8 PM. He had asked if she had eaten food.
