Speeding car mows down biker on NH-86:Rider dragged 50 metres before hitting tree; driver flees, police launch manhunt

A speeding car hit a motorcyclist on National Highway 86 in Chhatarpur district on Thursday, dragging him for nearly 50 metres before the motorcycle rammed into a tree. The incident occurred near Bundela Dhaba in the Matguwan police station area. A video of the accident has since surfaced. The injured rider was identified as Shankar Yadav (20), son of Munna Yadav. He suffered serious head injuries and abrasions to his knee after being dragged. The car driver fled the spot with the vehicle following the collision. Local residents rushed Mr. Yadav to a nearby hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. Doctors said his condition remains serious. Police said a case has been registered against the car occupant.
