A tragic accident took place near Kosta on the Rewa–Raipur route on Saturday afternoon, where a speeding Audi car hit a motorcycle from behind with great force. Three people, including a woman, died on the spot. The victims were from the same family and had stepped out to offer the first wedding invitation to God. The impact was so severe that the motorcycle was completely shattered. The deceased have been identified as Sheetal Vishwakarma, a resident of Rathara, and Shivam Vishwakarma and Bhagwat Vishwakarma, residents of Chachai. It is reported that Bhagwat Vishwakarma’s son Shubham is to get married on February 25. As per Hindu tradition, the first wedding card is offered to God. To perform this ritual, Bhagwat Vishwakarma was heading to the Chirhula Nath temple along with family members on a motorcycle when the accident occurred. Car was coming from Raipur Eyewitnesses said that around 3:30 PM, a speeding Audi car coming from Raipur to Rewa hit the bike from behind. As soon as the collision occurred, the bike riders were thrown into the air and fell far away. The injuries were so severe that all three died on the spot. Police searching for the driver As soon as the incident was reported, police reached the spot and sent the bodies for post-mortem. Police have seized the car and started searching for the driver. Since the accident, there is chaos in the wedding house and a wave of grief throughout the area.
