A horrific road accident occurred on Saturday night at Kinara Chokdi, near Ranpur in Gujarat’s Botad district. In a head-on collision between a speeding truck and an Eco car, three people tragically died on the spot, while four others were seriously injured. The deceased were residents of Madhya Pradesh. The accident was so severe that the Eco car was completely mangled. After the collision, some bodies were found lying on the road, while many people remained badly trapped inside the car. According to the information received, the passengers in the Eco car (MP 09 DK 4398) were residents of Panala village, located in Nalkheda tehsil of Shajapur district, Madhya Pradesh. All of them were going to Kundli village in Ranpur region of Gujarat for agricultural labor. During this, their car collided violently with a truck (GJ 03 BV 6005) about two kilometers ahead on the highway leading towards Dhandhuka. People pulled out those trapped in the car After the accident, local people rushed to help. People trapped in the car were rescued with the help of pipes and other means. Ambulances were called from Paliyad, Ranpur, and Nagnare, and the injured were taken to Botad Hospital. The police arrived at the scene, carried out relief and rescue operations, and streamlined traffic. The police have registered a case after sending the bodies of the deceased for post-mortem. The injured are still undergoing treatment in the hospital.
