A young man died during a marathon on Sunday morning in Indore. The deceased has been identified as Aryan Todi, who was originally from Kolkata. Aryan had registered for the marathon and had also taken part in the race. According to eyewitnesses, Aryan was very close to completing the marathon. Just 100 metres before the finish point at Nehru Stadium, his health suddenly deteriorated. He collapsed outside the stadium. By that time, the marathon had already concluded. Cardiologist Dr Bharat Rawat, who was running just behind him, immediately took charge and administered CPR. After this, Aryan was taken to MY Hospital by ambulance, where doctors declared him dead. His family then took him to Bombay Hospital, but he was declared dead there as well. Police and organisers informed As soon as information about the incident was received, members of the organising committee and the police reached the spot.
