Pain intensifies while walking Sandhya, wife of Sanjay Adivasi, residing in Chapara village, began experiencing labor pain around 12 am on Thursday night. The family repeatedly called the 108 ambulance and Janani Express, but after each call, they were told it would arrive shortly. Hours passed, but no vehicle came. Seeing her condition worsen, the family decided to take Sandhya to the hospital on foot. During this, near the ration shop in Garhi Mohalla, Sandhya experienced severe labor pain. She was laid down on the roadside. Her family covered her with a plastic tarpaulin on the roadside. The Pathari watchwoman Hari Bai reached the spot. Understanding the seriousness of the situation, she called the local midwife Rajbai. Together, they safely assisted the delivery. After nearly three hours, local resident Sanjay Jain came to help. He transported the mother and newborn to the hospital in his car. Both mother and baby were admitted to the hospital. Their condition is stable.
