On Monday, a video surfaced showing Dr. Hemlata Srivastava being taken away by car by some individuals. The property worth over ₹50 crore of Jabalpur-based ophthalmologist Dr. Hemlata Srivastava has now become a source of concern for her. Amid the ongoing dispute over the property, multiple parties are reportedly eyeing it, and it is alleged that Dr. Srivastava’s medical treatment is being affected. Upon learning about the controversy, Dr. Hemlata’s sister, Kankalta Mishra, arrived in Jabalpur from Rajasthan. She stated that about two years ago, it was decided to entrust the property to the Gayatri Parivar. Meanwhile, the Gayatri Parivar claims that Dr. Srivastava has prepared a formal deed of donation for the property. The trustee of Gayatri Parivar clarified that the video showing Dr. Hemlata being taken away is fake. He stated that she was being escorted to the Gayatri temple according to her own wishes. The trustee added that Dr. Hemlata has willingly willed the property in the name of the Gayatri Parivar Trust, and no coercion was involved. Members of the Gayatri Parivar also visited Dr. Hemlata Srivastava’s residence. Health is poor, dispute over treatment Trustee Braj Bihari Sharma said that Dr. Hemlata’s health is poor. She was being taken to the hospital for treatment when a dispute occurred near Dr. Mukherjee’s hospital. Dr. Mukherjee claimed that he has been treating her for a long time and would not allow her to be taken to another hospital. Hemlata’s sister said – No one kidnapped Dr. Hemlata’s sister, Kankalta Mishra, clarified that her sister was not kidnapped. She accompanied her to the Gayatri temple. She said that two years ago, when Dr. Hemlata was in full health, discussions about the property took place. It was decided that the Gayatri Parivar would look after her and the property. Serious allegations of property grabbing against three doctors too Kankalta Mishra accused Dr. Tarun Behrani and Dr. Mukherjee of attempting to seize the property. She claimed that all three have been troubling Dr. Hemlata for the past 11 days. It is also alleged that Dr. Sumit Jain occupied the land and built a wall. IMA expresses concern about Dr. Hemlata’s kidnapping Indian Medical Association (IMA) member Dr. Abhijeet Vishnoi said that he received information that some individuals were attempting to take over Dr. Srivastava’s property. On Monday, she was being taken in a white car, which raised suspicion, leading to a call to Madan Mahal police. Dr. Hemlata was brought back home the same night. Dr. Vishnoi said that every patient has a right to proper medical treatment. The IMA admitted her to the hospital, where her treatment is ongoing. A large hospital owned by Dr. Mukherjee is located in front of Dr. Hemlata’s house. Police investigating the entire dispute ASP Suryakant Sharma said that an application was filed by Dr. Jain claiming that the land was transferred through a deed of donation. Meanwhile, Dr. Saket submitted an application challenging the authenticity of the deed. Dr. Hemlata’s sister told the police that there are concerns that some individuals might forcibly try to register the property in their names at the hospital. Currently, Madan Mahal police are investigating the entire matter.
