During a public hearing at the Narmadapuram Collectorate on Tuesday, City Tehsildar Sarita Malviya lost her temper and allegedly threatened a family with jail after they came to submit a complaint. The incident left the family visibly shaken. In fear, they pleaded for justice and were seen touching the Tehsildar’s feet. Two brothers from Siwani Malwa tehsil had arrived at the collectorate with their mother in a semi-naked condition. They were carrying shrouds and garlands, while chanting “Ram Nam Satya Hai”. Seeing them, Tehsildar Malviya got angry and raised her voice, asking them not to create a scene. She said the collectorate was a place governed by law and warned that disturbing law and order would land everyone in jail. She also threatened to call the police if they did not behave properly. Following this, complainant Rajkumar Sarathe and his mother became emotional. They fell at the Tehsildar’s feet, repeatedly saying they only wanted justice. Mother said – No one is listening anywhere
After Tehsildar Malviya’s rebuke, complainant Rajkumar Sarathe said – We live in Jiraweh village. Houses under the Prime Minister Housing Scheme have been built on government land adjacent to our field. This has completely blocked the road and water drainage. Have complained many times, but no solution has been found. The case is also pending in the Additional Collector Court. Meanwhile, his mother said tearfully – We are very troubled. No one is listening anywhere, so we were forced to come like this. After this, the anger of the officials calmed down. SDM Jay Solanki and Tehsildar Sarita Malviya asked the young men to put on clothes. CEO directed to send team for investigation
After dressing the victims, they were introduced to District Panchayat CEO Himanshu Jain. After hearing their problem, Jain has directed the formation of a team at the district level and sent the tehsildar to Seoni Malwa. Tehsildar said – Scolded them to make them understand
Meanwhile, Tehsildar Sarita Malviya said – Those people were protesting half-naked in the Collectorate premises. They were speaking rudely to the administration. Looking at the situation, they were scolded to make them understand.
