CM Mohan Yadav to inaugurate Khelo MP Youth Games today:Kailash Kher and Kailasa Band to perform live at TT Nagar Stadium

The state capital Bhopal, is set to witness a grand celebration of sports and youth energy today with the state-level inauguration of the Khelo MP Youth Games. The opening ceremony will take place at Tatya Tope Stadium at 6:30 pm, where elaborate arrangements and special decorations have been put in place. Top dignitaries to grace the ceremony Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav will attend the event as the chief guest, while the programme will be presided over by Union Minister for Labour and Employment, and Youth Affairs and Sports, Mansukh Mandaviya. The event has generated significant excitement among sports enthusiasts and young athletes across Madhya Pradesh. Kailash Kher–Kailasa band to light up the evening Cultural performances will be a major highlight of the inaugural ceremony. Renowned singer Kailash Kher, along with his Kailasa Band, will present a live musical performance. The evening will also feature a thrilling aerobatic dance performance by an India’s Got Talent–famed dance group, a grand march-past, and a specially curated dance drama showcasing the spirit of sportsmanship. According to Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang, the Khelo MP Youth Games are being organised this year in a broader and more inclusive format. With coordination between the Sports Department and recognised sports associations, the event aims to go beyond competition and serve as a strong platform for team selection and nurturing young talent at the state level. Over one lakh players take part The Khelo MP Youth Games have now evolved into a mass sports movement in the state. In this edition, more than one lakh players from rural, urban, and tribal regions of Madhya Pradesh participated in competitions held at the block, district, and divisional levels. Players selected through these rounds will now compete in 28 sports disciplines at the state level, showcasing their talent, discipline, and sporting spirit.
