Union Minister and former BJP national president JP Nadda said that Bengalis are feeling unsafe in West Bengal and urged people to free the state from poor governance. He made these remarks during an event organised by the Bengali Club in Jabalpur, celebrating the club’s 100th anniversary. Nadda said, “A message must be sent from the land of Jabalpur to Bengal. Bengal also needs change. The Bengal that once led the country is now in trouble. The whole nation should stand with Bengal and help it overcome this crisis.” He expressed concern that Bengalis have started feeling insecure, calling it an irony and a sign of bad governance. Call to remember Netaji, fight misrule Nadda stressed that while the nation remembers Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, it is also the responsibility of citizens to liberate Bengal from misrule. He said that the public should spread this message widely. He added that April-May will provide an opportunity for change, and urged people to talk to their relatives and contribute democratically to bring about transformation in the state. Mass marriage event: 121 couples tie the knot During his visit, Nadda also attended a mass marriage ceremony in Jabalpur, where 121 couples were married. The event included three Muslim couples as well. One of the grooms said, “I felt good being here. I learned about this from the municipal corporation. Our marriage was already planned and it is a love marriage.” Bride Nandini Ahirwar said, “I felt very happy to be here.” CM Mohan Yadav on Netaji and post-independence mistakes CM Mohan Yadav stated that if Netaji had led the Congress, India’s freedom struggle would not have been fragmented. He also criticised post-independence political leadership, saying that some leaders made mistakes regarding Kashmir, harming India’s self-respect. Dr. Yadav added that Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee recognised this mistake early, and that their political party corrected it later. CM holds video conference with Dhar officials CM Yadav held a video conference with the Collector and SP of Dhar district from a control room at the Sixth Battalion Training Centre. The meeting lasted around 90 minutes, during which the CM monitored district-level activities.
