On Thursday night, he posts a video on social media admitting the crime, threatening the police, and vowing to get the TI and SP dismissed. In the video, the accused is seen saying that if the names of his father and brothers are not removed from the FIR, he will get them dismissed. It is worth noting that on Tuesday, January 20, the accused assaulted Lokendra, who had contested elections for BSP from Datia assembly, and made a video. Also admitted to the assault In the approximately three-and-a-half-minute video, Raja Barouni states that he was the one who assaulted Lokendra Ahirwar. He also said that his father, elder brother Umesh Ahirwar, and Chandraprakash Ahirwar were not involved in the incident. The accused revealed that he, along with Pooran and Dinesh Ahirwar, had assaulted Lokendra. Challenge for police As soon as the video went viral on social media, the police sprang into action. According to Barouni police station in-charge Dinesh Rajput, a raid was conducted at the accused’s house, but the accused and his entire family were found absconding. The house was locked. Accused has criminal history According to the police, Raja Barouni is a history-sheeter criminal. Several criminal cases, including attempted murder and assault, are already registered against him. Recently, he was released from jail in connection with an FIR registered at Kotwali, and immediately after coming out, he assaulted Lokendra Ahirwar. Action also being prepared against those who granted bail SP Suraj Verma said that the entire criminal record of the accused is being investigated. Along with this, preparations are also being made to take action against the policemen who granted bail to the accused. SP Verma said that the accused’s location is continuously being found outside the district. Police are raiding his possible hideouts. He said that the accused would be arrested soon and this time such action would be taken that would set an example, so that no criminal could challenge the police in this manner.
