Indore police have arrested Aban Shakeel, who was involved in supplying MD drugs in Goa, Indore, Mumbai, and Delhi. Two young women in his gang acted as peddlers because they were not easily suspected. Aban and his accomplice, Baba Sharma, lured girls with high commissions and free drugs to involve them in trafficking. Following Aban’s information, police also arrested Baba Sharma and the two young women. The investigation revealed that Aban and Baba Sharma were part of an interstate MD drug trafficking gang operating in four to five states. Police said the three accused Baba Sharma, Alisha Masih, and Neha ran an event management business as a cover. They organised several high-end parties, charging 10 to 15 thousand rupees for entry, where drugs were supplied to wealthy guests. They were made addicted to drugs in the name of party culture In the name of parties, Aban used to take many young people to such parties. Later, they were given MD doses and made addicted to drugs in the name of party culture. The four members of the gang have mainly been organizing parties in Goa, Delhi, Indore, Bhopal, Mumbai, and also in Delhi. A total of four arrests have been made so far 3 more smugglers from Aban’s gang, who smuggled MD drug, have been arrested from Kanadia in Indore, Mumbai, and Dewas. In the MD smuggling case, interstate smuggler Vaibhav alias Baba has confessed to drug smuggling by forming a gang with Aban and young women. Supply at 10 thousand rupees per gram He told the police that they used to supply drugs at 10 thousand rupees per gram in pubs, bars, and clubs in Goa and several other states. Now, the police are interrogating the accused regarding the source of MD drug supply, after which other members of the gang can be arrested. Aban Shakeel removed from Bhopal division cricket association After Aban Shakeel’s name came up in drug trafficking, the Bhopal Division Cricket Association (BDCA) has expelled him from its primary membership. BDCA has issued a statement confirming this. Aban was also a lifetime member of BDCA. Aban lives in a mansion worth crores of rupees, built on half an acre of land, at the Saifiya College ground in the Kohefiza area. Luxury cars are parked in the porch of his house. His sister also assists in running St. Michael School. Aban, a resident of Old Bhopal, usually frequented clubs and lounges in New Bhopal. Aban’s father was also a renowned bodybuilder. 15.95 grams of MD drugs, unregistered Eco Sports car, Thar, and SUV seized A case has been registered at Kanadia police station in Indore under crime number 37/2025, section 8/22 of the NDPS Act. So far, a total of 15.95 grams of MD drugs, an unregistered Eco Sports car, a Thar, and an SUV have also been seized from the accused.
