India ODI captain Shubman Gill has arrived in Indore with a special water purification machine worth ₹3 lakh. The Indian team has arrived in Indore to take on New Zealand in the third and final ODI of the three-match series on 18 January. According to our partner newspaper, sources associated with the hotel said that this machine is capable of completely purifying even RO and packaged bottled water. Shubman is said to have kept the machine in his room. The hotel staff has also not been given detailed information regarding its use and technology. Although this move comes after the death of 24 people in Indore’s Bhagirathpura due to contaminated water, the exact reason for bringing the water purifier with him is not clear. The India vs New Zealand ODI series is tied 1-1 at the moment and the third and decisive game is to be played at the Holkar Stadium. Rohit Sharma’s diet includes almonds, sprouts, oats, fruit, paneer, vegetables, dal, and rice. Additionally, other players consume chicken, fish, eggs, brown rice, lentils, nuts, along with coconut water and green tea to stay hydrated. On Friday, the Indian players rested while New Zealand practiced. On Saturday, the Indian team will also practice.
