The third and fourth quarterfinals of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2026 are being played at the BCCI Centre of Excellence on Tuesday. At CoE ground 1, Madhya Pradesh captain Venkatesh Iyer won the toss and elected to field first against Punjab. Punjab’s openers Harnoor Singh and Prabhsimran Singh started strong against MP. Harnoor was dismissed after scoring his fifty, while Prabhsimran neared his century. Delhi up against Vidarbha, Punjab take on MP Elsewhere, on CoE ground 2, Vidarbha were invited to bat first by Delhi captain Ishant Sharma. Atharva Taide started the match strongly by scoring a half-century. Aman Mokhade was dismissed on six runs by Navdeep Saini. Vidarbha zoomed past the 100-run mark inside twenty overs thanks to Taide’s hitting. On Monday, Karnataka and, Saurashtra qualified for the semifinals of the domestic One-day tournament. Both the quarterfinals were abandoned due to rain. Karnataka secured a 55-run victory over Mumbai via the VJD method after bad light and rain stopped their match in the second innings at CoE Ground 1. At the CoE Ground 2, Saurashtra eliminated an undefeated Uttar Pradesh side via the VJD method in a match where rain played spoilsport. Devdutt Padikkal scores 700 runs in Vijay Hazare Devdutt Padikkal continued his red-hot form in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. While chasing a 255-run target, the left-hander struck an unbeaten 81 off 95 deliveries, with 11 fours to his name. He was en route to another century before the match was stopped due to bad light. Padikkal did cross the 700-run mark in the ongoing tournament.
